| Update Request | An update request is a request to carry out any bundle of tasks on the website, for example asking to reposition the logo, to resize the image, to change some wording on the About-Us page and so on, all those tasks submitted together constitute one Update Request, if you submit one task only, it’s also considered a 1 update request. An update request can contain one or more tasks. |
| Revision | Revision is the amendment to the update request already submitted, for example if you had requested for the logo to be resized to 100px and now it doesn’t look good to you, you change your mind to have it to 200px. A revision gives you a chance to change your mind on what you had requested before, but a new task that wasn’t requested before is considered a new update request on its own. |
| Delivery Time | Delivery time is the time it takes to complete the requested changes. |
| Backup | Backup is the creation of the website copy to another disk, so that in case it is damaged beyond repair, it can be restored from a previously working copy stored somewhere else. |
| Visitor Reports | Visitor reports are statistics of how many people visited the website, where they came from, and any other statistics regarding the website traffic. |
| Recommendations | Maintenance recommendations are suggestions of changes that can be applied to the website. |
| Link scan | Link scanning is checking whether the links on the website work as they should, pointing to the right addresses, if any broken link is detected, it can get fixed. |
| Platform update | Platform updating is the upgrading of systems that make up a website, they may include plugins, theme templates, CMS applications and so forth to ensure the software running the website is current, removing vulnerabilities that hackers can otherwise exploit. |
